Department of Commerce of Jilin Province Proactively Supports Sichuan Quake Relief

Leading Party members’ group in Department of Commerce of Jilin Province carefully carried out Instructions and requirements from the Central, Provincial Party Committee and Provincial government on supporting the quake relief in disaster areas, and organized the organs of Department of commerce of Jilin Province and its subordinated institutions to donate RMB159,650 and materials worth RMB5100. Jilin General Chamber of Commerce and Meat Association mobilized relevant enterprises to donate RMB671,000 and materials valued at RMB 900,000. Jilin Province Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment mobilized the first foreign-invested enterprises to donate RMB11.822151m and materials worth RMB568,000. Recently, all the party members from organs of Department of Commerce of Jilin province and its subordinated institutions proactively paid special party membership dues. By May 26, the special party membership dues paid by all the party members stood at RMB 154,650. Meanwhile, the role of Jilin Province Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment was made full use of, who mobilized the second foreign-invested enterprises to donate RMB 1.184321m and medicine worth RMB 30.41m for supporting the quake relief. Recently, donations and special party membership dues amounted to RMB13.991772m and materials valued at RMB31.8831m, which totaled RMB 45.869622m and had been sent to the disaster areas via commercial system.
